6 Replacement of the AC Power Controller Assembly
6.1 Removing the AST Assembly

Position Designation
A Area of the assembly STP-BFS that can be touched without consequence
This area can be used as a holding point during mounting.
Rest No other areas may be touched
Procedure:
1. Disconnect the inverter from all voltage sources and discharge (see Section 5, page 11).
2. Carefully remove the STP-BFS from the spacers.
3. If a cable bridge is installed on the AC power controller assembly for reverse current
protection, remove each end of the jumper cable from the yellow terminal consecutively. To do
so, insert a screwdriver (blade width: 3.5 mm) into the rectangular opening on the terminal
and remove the cable end.
4. Remove all connections on the AC power controller assembly.
5. Remove the varistors from the AC power controller assembly:
• Position the insertion tool into the clamping
contacts of the connecting terminal plate.
• Remove the varistor from the connecting terminal plate and store safely.
6. Remove and dispose of all AC power controller assembly connecting screws.
