Angle Connector and Male Luer Medication Port
Instructions for Use
Rx Only: Federal Law (USA) restricts this device to
sale by or on the order of a physician.
Warning: The medication port is NPSA
compatible: prevents the connection of male
Luer syringes. Only female Luer syringes fit
to the medication port.
1. Remove the plug from the MIC-KEY* Feeding
Tube to reveal the MIC-KEY* Feeding Tube
anti-reflux valve.
2. Connect the Extension Set by aligning the
black line on the connector with the black line
on the MIC-KEY*. Lock into place by rotating it
CLOCKWISE 3/4 turn.
3. Flush the Extension Set and the MIC-KEY*
with warm water (10 ml for adults, 3–5 ml for
children). Check for ease of flushing.
4. Open the feeding port to perform gastric
decompression or enteral feeding.
5. After feeding or decompression, flush the
Extension Set and the MIC-KEY* with 5–10 ml
of warm water.

6. To disconnect the Extension Set from the
MIC-KEY*, rotate the Extension Set connector
COUNTER-CLOCKWISE until the black line on
the MIC-KEY* aligns with black line on the
Extension Set. Gently remove the connector
from the MIC-KEY*. Replace the plug into the
MIC-KEY*.
7. After each use, wash the Extension Set with
warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
