Connection: Input mains switching (AC-INPUT)
The Voltima inverter is suitable for additional operation with an external mains feed (VST
models only) into the vehicle (shore power).
On the back panel of the unit there is a mains input socket marked "AC-INPUT".
The unit is connected to a 230V socket via the enclosed mains connection cable (1.8 m) with
IEC plug, which is supplied with shore power via the mains feed in the vehicle. The supply
cable to the unit should be fitted with a strain relief!
For this purpose, the unit is equipped with an AC socket (AC-INPUT).
The two sockets on the unit serve both as a 230V output for mains supply and as a 230V mains
power supply for pure inverter operation (no shore power connected).
The switching time between mains and inverter operation is fully automatic.
The unit is designed in such a way that when it is connected to the mains (shore power), it
automatically switches to mains operation (< 0.1 seconds).
When shore power is connected, the two sockets are supplied with 230V mains voltage.
Note!
This function takes place both when the ON/OFF switch is on and when it is off.
If the unit switch is in the "OFF" position, this is not signalled by the LED lights.
We therefore recommend setting the unit switch to the "ON" position.
In the "ON" position, the 3 LED lights signal the switchover to shore power.
With an external connection to shore power, the 3 LED lights (red, green, yellow) flash every
2 seconds.
Note!
The device can be easily switched on and off via the supplied remote control.
