8 Intended Use

This product is intended to be used as a shower aid providing
stable seating position while showering.
Users are any adults and adolescents with restricted or
limited mobility (e.g.: legs and/or hips). If used without an
assistant, users must be able to keep their own balance.
The product is intended exclusively for home use and is not
intended for intensive use in institutions.
Indication
Restricted or limited mobility (e.g.: legs and/or hips) or
having balance issues to stand up or walk due to transitional
or permanent disabilities.
There are no contraindications known when using the
product as intended.
The maximum user weight is 120 kg.

9 Product Description

Invacare® Alizé H2080 is a shower chair composed of flip-up
armrests, backrest, four castors (two with brakes), fold-up
footrest and a seat plate with hygiene cut-out.
10 Assembling the Product (Fig. 6)
CAUTION!
Risk of Pinching
– Take care during assembly.
Perform each of the following steps on both sides of the
shower chair. Refer to fig. 6.
1. Mount both tubes of the seat A to the frame C using
screws G and saddle spacers H. Cover the screw heads
with caps K.
2. Mount the tube of the backrest B to the frame C using
screws G and saddle spacers H. Cover the screw heads
with caps K
3. Insert the front castor E into the frame tube C.
4. Mount the footrest D to the frame C using screws F,
saddle spacers H and nuts I. Cover the nuts with caps
J.

11 Usage (Fig. 4)
Transfer to and from the Shower Chair
WARNING!
Risk of Injury
– Only use the shower chair on level ground.
– Before sitting down or standing up from the
shower chair engage the castor locks of both
the rear castors.
CAUTION!
Risk of Trapping Fingers
– Do not keep your hand on the handle when
raising the armrest. When lowering the armrest,
ensure that your fingers are away from the
hinges to avoid catching them.
1. Place the shower chair in a suitable position.
2. Engage both castor locks on the rear castor N.
3. Fold up the footrest D.
4. Fold up the armrest O for easier transfer if necessary.
5. Transfer to the seat of the shower chair.
6. Fold down the armrest O.
7. Fold down the footrest D and place your feet on it.
Moving the Shower Chair
1. Hold the shower chair at the push handles.
2. Release both castor locks on the rear castors.
3. Move the shower chair to the desired position.
4. Engage both castor locks on the rear castors.
12 Maintenance
12.1 General Maintenance Information
This product is maintenance-free, provided that the cleaning
and disinfection instructions are adhered to.
12.2 Cleaning and Disinfection
General Safety Information
CAUTION!
Risk of Contamination
– Take precautions for yourself and use
appropriate protective equipment.
IMPORTANT!
Wrong fluids or methods can harm or damage
the product.
– All cleaning agents and disinfectants used must
be effective, compatible with one another and
must protect the materials they are used to
clean.
– Never use corrosive fluids (alkalines, acid etc.)
or abrasive cleaning agents. We recommend
an ordinary household cleaning agent such as
dishwashing liquid, if not specified otherwise in
the cleaning instructions.
– Never use a solvent (cellulose thinner, acetone
etc.) that changes the structure of the plastic
or dissolves the attached labels.
– Always make sure that the product is completely
dried before taking it into use again.
