Pass the car seat belt over the
top of the base unit and secure
the belt in the buckle.

Position the lower belt section
(1) (lap belt) under the blue lap
belt guides (see illustration). Pass
the upper belt section (2)
(diagonal belt) around the outside
of the base unit and insert it into
the blue belt clip. Tension the
belt as shown in the illustration,
and close the blue belt clip.
