Cold start lever (fig. 20)
Use the cold start lever (1) to assist engine starting when

cold. It increases the engine idling speed after start-up.
Lever positions:
A - closed;
B – fully open.
The lever can be placed in intermediate positions to help

the engine warm up gradually (see page 48).

Important
Never use the cold start lever when the engine is
warm, or leave it open while riding.
