If you wish to set steering head rake at 23° 30', position
the last hole on the steering lock arm (3) at the mounting
hole in the steering head. Apply a medium-strength thread
locker to the screw (2) and fasten the screw to the
steering damper, taking care to insert the lock arm (3).
Rotate the ball joint (A) on the steering damper rod
through 180°. Apply medium-strength thread locker to the
E
screw (1) removed previously, and secure the ball joint
with this screw.
Grease the screw (4) removed previously and tighten it to
A
23 Nm ± 5%.
