4.2.2 Motorola-Funktionsadresse
Bei Verwendung des Märklin-Motorola-Formats er-
reichen Sie die Funktionen F5 bis F8 wie gewohnt
unter einer zusätzlichen Adresse, sie wird in CV 113
eingetragen.
4.2.3 Alternative Adresse
Der Decoder in der Waggon-Innenbeleuchtung kann
die Fahrbefehle an die Lok des Zugverbundes nut-
zen, um zu unterscheiden, ob der Zug fährt oder
steht, s. Kapitel 4.7. Benutzt wird dies, um den pas-
senden Zufallsgenerator („Fahrt"/„Bahnhof") auszu-
wählen. Damit der Decoder eine eigene Basisadres-
se haben kann, die anders als die der Lok ist, und
trotzdem die Befehle an die Lok auswertet, kann die
Lokadresse in CV 114 und 115 hinterlegt werden.
4.2.4 Mehrfachtraktionsadresse –
Steuern des kompletten
Waggonverbundes
Einen besonderen Komfort erzielen Sie bei Verwen-
dung der Mehrfach- oder Multitraktionsadresse in CV
19. Sie können allen Waggons Ihres Zugverbundes
die gleiche Mehrfachtraktionsadresse zuweisen und
darüber alle Waggons gleichzeitig erreichen. Wenn
Sie auf der Basisadresse die gewünschten Beleuch-
tungsprofile für jeden Waggon Ihres Zugverbundes
eingestellt haben, dann können Sie diese Mehr-
fachtraktionsadresse benutzen, um alle Waggons,
die diese Adresse haben, besonders einfach zu be-
dienen. Schalten Sie besonders komfortabel z. B.
den Tag- oder Nachtbetrieb für den Waggonverbund
mit nur einem Tastendruck ein, oder schalten Sie die
Zufallssteuerung ein oder aus. Beachten Sie, dass
dazu diese Funktion „freigeschaltet" werden muss –
dies geschieht in CV 21 und 22. Wenn Sie z. B. die
Funktion F8 benutzen, um den Tag-/Nachtbetrieb zu
schalten, dann muss in CV 21 der Wert 128 eingetra-
gen werden. Damit ist die Funktion F8 für die Mehr-
fachtraktion aktiviert.
4.3 Lichtprofile
Die auf der Platine befindlichen 11 Leuchtdioden, die
zusätzlichen richtungsabhängigen Schaltausgänge
sowie der zusätzliche Schaltausgang ermöglichen
eine große Anzahl von Konfigurationen.
Um hier eine komfortable Bedienung zu ermögli-
chen, wurde das Konzept der Lichtprofile eingeführt.
Lichtprofile kombinieren bestimmte Leuchtdioden und
Schaltausgänge zu Gruppen und ordnen sie einer
Funktion zu, die von einer Digitalzentrale mit deren
Funktionstasten direkt aufgerufen werden können.
Eine Reihe solcher Profile sind im Decoder hinter-
legt. So gibt es zum Beispiel das Profil „Spitzenlicht",
„die ersten drei LEDs", „Notbeleuchtung", „Zufalls-
steuerung einzelner LEDs", „Zufallssteuerung ganzer
Profile".
Das Besondere an diesem Konzept ist, dass sich
auch mehrere Profile zusammen einer Funktionstaste
zuordnen lassen.

4.2.2 Motorola function address
When using the Märklin-Motorola protocol, you can
use the functions F5 to F8 with the help of an addi-
tional address, which you can set up in CV 113.
4.2.3 Alternative address
The decoder inside the digital coach lighting can
make use of the commands sent to the locomotive
of the train, to decide whether the train moves or it is
stopped, and in which direction it travels, see chapter
4.7. This is useful for the decoder to decide which
type of random generator is to be used. In order to be
possible for the decoder to have a different address
from the locomotive, but still remaining able to listen
to the commands sent to the locomotive, the locomo-
tive address can be set in CV 114 and 115.
4.2.4 Consist address – controlling the
whole train
The use of the consist address in CV 19 provides
a comfortable way to easily control the whole train
from a single digital address. You can assign the
same consist address to all the coaches in a train to
control all of them simultaneously. After you set up
the light scenes for the coaches over their individual
addresses, you can use the consist address to switch
specific functions with a single button press for the
whole train, for example, switching between day/night
modes or switching the randomness on or off. Note,
that functions making part of this have to be enabled
individually in CV 21 and 22. For example, if you use
F8 to control the day/night function, you have to set
CV 21 to 128. By doing so, you enabled F8 to be con-
trolled by the consist address.
4.3 Light scenes
Due to the 11 LEDs, the additional directional outputs
as well as the auxiliary output you may choose be-
tween many different configurations.
In order to assure easy handling of so many differ-
ent options the concept of light scenes has been
developed. Light scenes combine certain LEDs and
outputs to groups and assign them to a certain func-
tion that can be switched by a function button of your
command station resp. your throttle. A number of light
scenes like "headlight", "first three LEDs", "emer-
gancy lighting", "random switching of single LEDs",
"random control of complete light scenes" have been
pre-programmed in the decoder.
One particular feature of this concept is the fact that
one may control several light scenes by activating
one function button.
