4.9.6 Programmierung der Funktionen:

Die Funktionen des Decoders richten Sie über die
CV-Programmierung ein. Sämtliche Einstellmöglich-
keiten finden Sie in Kapitel 6.

5. Programmierung

Sie können den Decoder in der Waggon-Innenbe-
leuchtung am Programmierausgang einer Zentrale
oder auf dem Hauptgleis programmieren (POM), aber
auch im sog. Motorola-Modus.
Hier quittiert der Decoder den Programmiermodus
und seine verschiedenen Zustände durch Blink-
signale, mit der ersten LED.
5.1 Programmierung mit DCC-Zentralen
am Programmierausgang
Mit einer DCC-Zentrale können Sie die Konfigurati-
onsvariablen (CVs) des Decoders programmieren.
Beachten Sie dazu den betreffenden Abschnitt in der
Bedienungsanleitung Ihrer Zentrale, in der die byte-
weise Programmierung der CV-Variablen beschrie-
ben ist.
Durch die geringe Stromaufnahme kann der Decoder
am Programmierausgang ohne weitere Maßnahmen
kein Acknowledge-Signal bzw. Bestätigungs-Signal
erzeugen, Sie können also Werte nicht auslesen und
beim Schreiben bekommen Sie eine Fehlermeldung.
Wenn Sie dies vermeiden wollen, schließen Sie den
beiliegenden Widerstand gemäß Abb. 2 an.

Im Übrigen ist ein Schreibvorgang in der Regel trotz-
dem erfolgreich, auch wenn die Zentrale kein Ack-
nowledge bzw. keine Bestätigung erhält.
5.2 Programmierung mit Motorola-
Zentralen
Stellen Sie den Waggon auf ein Gleis, das mit dem
Gleisausgang der Zentrale verbunden ist. Es darf
kein weiteres Fahrzeug auf dem Gleis stehen, da der
darin befindliche Decoder sonst ggf. ebenfalls pro-
grammiert wird.

Please program the functions of the decoder by
means of CV programming. You can find all possi-
ble options in chapter 6.
5. Programming
You may program the decoder of your coach lighting
at the programming output of your command station
or on the main track (POM). Programming also works
in the "Motorola mode".
Here the decoder acknowledges the different kinds of
status while in programming mode by blinking of the
first LED.
5.1 Programming with a DCC command
You can program the configuration variables (CVs) of
the decoder from the command station.
Also take note of the relevant chapter of the manual
of your command station where the byte-wise pro-
gramming of (CVs) is explained.
Due to the low current consumption the decoder can-
not generate the so called "acknowledge" signal with-
out additional means.
Therfore one can not read the CVs and when writing
them one gets an error message. To avoid this con-
nect the enclosed resistor as shown in fig. 2.

successful.
5.2 Programming with Motorola central
Put the coach onto a track section connected to the
central unit's track output. Make sure no other vehicle
is located on the track as the decoder in that vehicle
will also be programmed.
