Leuchtdioden schalten scheinbar willkürlich.
● Sie haben möglicherweise den Zufallsmodus akti-
viert, durch den die wechselnden Beleuchtungss-
zenarien aufgerufen werden. Schalten Sie die ent-
sprechenden CVs zurück auf die Standardwerte
oder setzen Sie den Decoder in den Werkszu-
stand zurück.
● Möglicherweise werden Funktionsbefehle an die
Decoderadresse gesendet, die eigentlich für einen
Lokdecoder gedacht sind. Ändern Sie die Funkti-
onszuordnungen oder geben Sie der Waggon-
Innenbeleuchtung eine neue Adresse.
Ihre DCC-Zentrale meldet einen Fehler beim Pro-
grammieren.
● Der Decoder kann ohne Zusatzmaßnahmen keine
Rückmeldung in Form einer Stromerhöhung an die
Zentrale senden. Schließen Sie den beiliegenden
Widerstand gemäß Abb. 2 an.
Wenn Sie die Fehlerursache nicht finden können,
senden Sie den Decoder zur Reparatur ein (unsere
Adresse finden Sie weiter unten).
8. Anhang
8.1 F7 mit Profil H: „Zufallssteuerung
Großraumwagen"
Sie haben keinen Großraumwagen, sondern einen
Abteilwagen, in dem zufällig einzelne Lichter ein- und
ausgeschaltet werden sollen. Die Konfiguration H
kann man einfach daran anpassen. Punkt 4.3 listet
nämlich als Wert 203: „Zufallssteuerung für Abteil-
wagen". Wenn Sie Profil H in CV 57 auf 203 ändern,
sind Sie schon fertig. Das Function Mapping muss
nicht modifiziert werden, F7 ruft jetzt Profil H mit dem
Wert 203 auf.
Wenn Profil H zu mehreren Funktionen gehört, wird
es in allen Verwendungen automatisch aktualisiert,
ohne die CVs 33 – 46 ändern zu müssen. Das ist der
Vorteil der Profile: Eine Funktionstaste kann mehrere
Profile haben und ein Profil kann zu mehreren Funk-
tionstasten gehören. Individuelle Profile können um-
konfiguriert werden, ohne das Function Mapping neu
berechnen zu müssen.
8.2 Abteilwagen und modifizierte Profile
Bei einem Abteilwagen kann es Sinn machen, F3,
F4 und F5 (CV 37, 38, 39) auf Null zu setzten, da-
mit nicht unabsichtlich Gruppen von Lichtern, die bei
einem Abteilwagen nicht viel Sinn machen würden,
schalten. Um die Profile E und F anders verwenden
zu können, wird Profil D so geändert, dass es alleine
alle 11 Lichter schaltet.
Jetzt unterscheiden sich die CVs von ihren Grundein-
stellungen im folgenden Maße:
CV 36 = 8 (F2 schaltet jetzt nur Profil D = 8)
CV 37 = 0 (F3 nicht mehr gebraucht, kann eventuell
eine andere Aufgabe bekommen)

● Possibly you may have activated the random
mode calling up the various light scenes. Set the
appropriate CVs to the correct (standard) values
or reset the decoder to default values.
● Possibly function commands are transmitted to the
decoder address that are actually intended for a
locomotive decoder. Change the function alloca-
tions or assign a new address to the coach ligh-
ting.
Your DCC-central unit reports an error while pro-
gramming the decoder at the programming track.
● The decoder cannot give enough current feedback
to the central unit without additional means. Con-
nect the enclosed resistor according to fig. 2.
If you cannot find the cause of the fault, please return
the decoder for repair (address below).
8. Appendix
8.1 F7 with light scene H: "Random
control of saloon coach"
Let's assume you do not have a saloon coach but
rather one with compartments in which different lights
should be turned on and off in a random pattern. It is
quite simple to adapt light scene H for this purpose.
Point 4.3 lists the value 203: "Random control for
compartment coaches". Simply change light scene H
in CV 57 to the value 203. That's it! There is no need
to modify the function mapping, because F7 now trig-
gers light scene H with the value 203.
If light scene H is linked to several functions, it will be
automatically updated in all applications without hav-
ing to change CVs 33-46. This is the true advantage
of the concept of light scenes: One function button
can activate several light scenes and any light scene
may be linked to several function buttons. You may
also reconfigure individual light scenes without having
to recalculate any values for the function mapping.
8.2 Compartment coach and modified
light scenes
In case of a compartment coach it may be useful to
set F3, F4 and F5 (CVs 37, 38, 39) to zero in order to
prevent the unintentional switching of groups of LEDs
that would appear out of place in a compartment
coach. In order to be able to use light scenes E and F
differently, light scene D must be changed in such a
way that it switches all 11 LEDs.
Now the settings of the CVs vary from the basic set-
tings as follows:
