GROOVE "A" (position
of butterfl y disc)
Removal of the seat (liner)
1. Pull off circlip 8.
2. Move butterfl y disc 6 into the open
position.
3. Pull out operator shaft 4, O-ring 3,
bush 2 and washer 9.
4. Remove butterfl y disc 6.
5. On one side of the valve, remove the lips
of the seat (liner) 5 from the body seat.
6. Squeeze the seat (liner) into a heart
shape and remove sideways from the
valve body.

Installation of the seat (liner)
Install the seat (liner) in the reverse order of
its removal. Pay attention to the following:
1. Clean all parts before installation.
2. Depending on version, use a suitable
lubricant for the shafts, butterfl y disc and
seat (liner) to facilitate installation.

3. The holes of the seat (liner) must be in
correct alignment with the locating holes
of the shafts in the body.
4. Move the butterfl y disc 6 into the open
position to make it easier to guide.

5. Reinstall the operator shaft 4 with
the butterfl y disc in the open position
(groove "A" indicates the position of the
butterfl y disc).

6. Reinsert the O-ring 3 and bush 2.
7. Place the operator shaft 4 in the end
position.
8. Reinsert the washer 9 and circlip 8.
9. Open and close the valve with a wrench
and check that it is assembled and
functioning correctly.
