• The sieve may only be used, maintained, and op-
erated by persons familiar with it and instructed in
its operation and procedures. Arbitrary alterations
to the implement release the manufacturer from all
responsibility for any resulting damages.
• The sieve may only be used with original accesso-
ries and tools made by the manufacturer.
• Any other use exceeds authorization. The manu-
facturer is not responsible for any damages result-
ing from unauthorized use; risk is the sole respon-
sibility of the operator.
• Keep your limbs away from the angle adjustment
and hinge during the up and down swiveling of
the sieve.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial ap-
plications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine
is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses
or for equivalent purposes.

5. Safety instructions

General safety instructions
• Make sure the sieve stands firmly on solid ground.
• Before doing any repair work, switch off the motor
and pull the power supply plug.
• Installation, repair and maintenance work at the
electrical system may only be done by a specialist.
• As soon as the repair and maintenance work has
been finished, all guards and safety devices must
be refitted.
• When working with the sieve, all safety devices and
guards must be fitted.
• Check the electrical power line. Do not use any de-
fective cables.
• Keep children away from the sieve connected to
the electric power.
• Do not reach into the rotating drum.
• Maintenance and cleaning jobs may only be exe-
cuted with the power supply plug pulled.
• Before leaving the place of work, switch off the mo-
tor and pull the power supply plug.
• Observe all safety instructions and warnings at-
tached to the sieve.
• Keep the safety instructions and warnings on the
sieve in a legible state.
• Even for the least displacement, pull the power
supply plug. Reconnect the sieve to the power cor-
rectly as soon as it has been installed at the new
place.
• When loading the sieve with soil, do not introduce
the shovel into the rotating drum.
• Keep your work area clean and well illuminated.
Untidy or unlit work areas can result in accidents.

• Do not operate the electric tool in an environment
where there is a risk of explosions and where there
are inflammable liquids, gases or dust. Electric
tools produce sparks which could set the dust or
vapours alight.
• The connector plug from this rotary sieve must fit
into the socket. The plug should never be altered
in any way. Unaltered plugs and correct sockets re-
duce the risk of an electric shock.
• Avoid bodily contact with earthed surfaces such as
pipes, heating, ovens and fridges. The risk of elec-
tric shock is increased if your body is earthed.
• Keep the tool out of the rain and away from mois-
ture. The ingress of water into an electric tool in-
creases the risk of an electric shock.
• Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges
and moving parts of the appliance. Damaged or
entangled cables increase the risk of an electric
shock.
• Be careful, watch what you are doing and use an
electric tool sensibly. Do not use the tool if you are
tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication. A moment of in attention when using
the electric tool can result in serious injuries.
• Always wear safety goggles. Wearing personal
protection (such as non-slip safety shoes ) reduc-
es the risk of injury.
• Make sure that the appliance cannot start up acci-
dentally. Ensure that the electric tool is switched off
before you connect it to the power supply.
• Remove keys and wrenches before switching on
the electric tool. A tool or key which comes into
contact with rotating parts of the appliance can
lead to injuries.
• Wear suitable work clothes. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewellery. Keep hair, clothes and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewellery
or long hair can get trapped in moving parts.
• Check for damaged parts before starting to work
with the machine. Damaged safety equipment or
other parts must be checked carefully to ensure
that they work properly and fulfil the intended func-
tion. Check the alignment of moving parts, check
for cracks, assembly and other conditions which
may impact on the function. Damaged safety equip-
ment or other parts must be repaired or replaced by
an expert.
Additional safety instructions
