2�2�6 Flange connection / adapters
The dimensions for the unit flange connections can be found in the following table.
With regard to the flange connection for units AIR1 XH 3500-8500, mounting brackets must be used (mounting bracket
included in scope of delivery; A special mounting bracket is included in scope of delivery for certain accessories).
The ducting must be firmly and tightly connected to the connection valves.

– Fasten the duct, connecting piece and flexible duct connector in the corners of the unit with screws M8x16.
– After tightening the screws, the accessory must also be fastened using the mounting brackets (see Fig.15).
2�2�7 Air ducting, ventilation circuit
When designing the ductwork, use the shortest possible runs.
Airtight connections and changeovers must be ensured for the best possible heat recovery.
Outside and outgoing air pipes are to be insulated in an appropriate way to reduce condensation.
If supply and extract air ductwork runs through unheated rooms, insulation must be provided to reduce heat losses.
All fire protection regulations must be observed!
2�2�8 Optional outside air pre-filter
The pre-filter ePM10 50 % (optional) is used to prevent the contamination of the fine filter.

The unit must be fully isolated from the mains power supply before all maintenance and cleaning work!
Risk due to electric shock, moving parts (fan) and hot surfaces�
