Operation of the FS700B
• Please observe the safety information before you turn
on the machine.
• All protection and safety devices must be installed.
• Only perform retooling, measuring, and cleaning work
when the motor is turned off. Disconnect the mains
plug, and wait until the rotating tool stands still.
• The rocking frame circular saw has been exclusively de-
signed for the trimming of firewood with a maximum
length of 1 m.
• Independent of the wood diameter, only one piece may
be put on the rocker.
• Hold the piece of wood with your left hand, and operate
the rocker with your right hand.
• Check the V-belt tension after the first working hour as
well as before each start of the machine.
Caution!
• If you work with crooked pieces of wood, the crooked
side must point towards the saw blade slot to prevent
the wood from turning over and getting jammed during
the cutting process.

• Only perform maintenance, repair and cleaning work as
well as the repair of failures when the drive is turned off
(disconnect the mains plug or turn off the tractor and
remove the ignition key).
• To exchange the saw blade, release the rocker internally,
and swing it out. (arrow)
• Swing back the bearing cover once you have loosened
the wing nut. Unscrew the wing nut of the saw blade
protection and swing the protection back as well.
• To fix the saw blade, put the clamping pin through the
lower saw blade protection.
• Loosen the saw blade using the provided saw blade
wrench.
• Reinstall the saw blade protection, the bearing cover,
and the rocker.
Maintenance
• Only perform maintenance, repair and cleaning work as
well as the repair of failures when the drive is turned off
(disconnect the mains plug or remove the ignition key).
• Check the V-belt tension after the first working hour as
well as before each start of the machine. To do so, loos-
en the T-screw of the motor console. Press the console
downwards and tightly fasten the T-screw again.
• All ball bearings are provided with a permanent lubrica-
tion. The circular saw blade is a wearing part and must
be checked prior to each operation of the saw. Only

Mise en route de la FS700B
• Observer les consignes de sécurité avant de mettre la
scie en route.
• Tous les dispositifs de sécurité et auxiliaires doivent
être montés.
• Le moteur doit toujours être à l'arrêt pour effectuer des
travaux de changement d'outillage, de réglage, de me-
sure et de nettoyage. Débrancher la fiche de secteur et
attendre que l'outil en rotation s'arrête complètement.
• La scie est uniquement construite pour le sciage en
coupe transversale de bûches d'une longueur max. de
1m
• Indépendamment du diamètre du bois, une seule piè-
ces doit être posée sur le chevalet.
• Tenir le bois de la main gauche et actionner le chevalet
avec la main droite.
• Contrôler la tension de la courroie trapézoïdale après la
première heure de service ainsi qu'après chaque mise
en service.
Attention :
• Lors de la coupe de rondins, la face ronde doit être
orientée sur la fente de scie pour éviter que le bois ne
se renverse ou ne coince pendant le sciage.

• L'entraînement doit toujours être mis hors circuit (dé-
brancher la fiche de secteur ou arrêter le remorqueur et
enlever la clé de contact) avant d'effectuer tous travaux
de maintenance, de remise en état et de nettoyage ou
d'éliminer des perturbations fonctionnelles.
• Pour changer la lame, déverrouiller le chevalet aussi de
l'intérieur et pousser davantage (dans le sens de la flè-
che).
• Desserrer l'écrou à oreilles et repousser le chapeau de
palier. Enlever l'écrou à oreilles du capot de protection
de la lame et repousser également.
• Introduire la goupille d'arrêt par la protection inférieure
de la lame pour bloquer la lame.
• Desserrer la lame à l'aide de la clé fournie avec la ma-
chine.
• Remonter la protection de la lame, le chapeau de palier
et le chevalet.
Maintenance
• L'entraînement doit toujours être mis hors circuit (dé-
brancher la fiche de secteur ou enlever la clé de con-
tact) avant d'effectuer tous travaux de maintenance, de
remise en état et de nettoyage et d'éliminer des pertur-
bations fonctionnelles.
• Contrôler la tension de la courroie trapézoïdale après la
première heure de service ainsi qu'après chaque mise
en service. Pour ce faire, desserrer la vis à garret de la
console du moteur. Pousser la console vers le bas et
resserrer la vis à garret.
