30 - TROUBLESHOOTING

IMPORTANT: when carrying out repairs, always use original parts, paying particular attention to their installation, as all parts
must remain in their original positions.
Symptom
Condensation temperature too low
Condensation pressure too high
compared to the discharge air, 
high pressure alarm
The compressor does not start
The compressor does not start, 
the motor makes an intermittent noise
The compressor stops and starts 
repeatedly
The compressor is noisy
Noisy operation
Evaporation pressure too low.

Cause
a) Insufficient gas
b) Obstacle in the expansion component
a) Insufficient air flow
b) Air intake temperature too high
c) Condenser fouled (no exchange)
d)   E xcessive refrigerant charge (condenser flooded)
e) The condenser fan is faulty
f) Air in the refrigerating circuit
a) Power supply fault
b)   T he contacts of a control components are open
c) Contactor coil blown
d) Internal electronic thermistor thermostat open
a) Network voltage very low
b) Power supply cable disconnected
a)   E xternal control contact cycling too rapidly
a) Insufficient gas.
c) Evaporator fouled
d)   T he evaporator fan or accelerator pump is not 
working.
e)   E xpansion device damaged or blocked by 
impurities
f) Dehumidifier filter blocked.
a) Mounting loose

Solution
a) Look for leaks and top up the charge
b) Check the expansion valve
a) Check the condenser fan
b)   C heck the condensation regulation setting
c) Clean it
d) Bleed

a) Check the differential and fuses
b) Check the safety chain
c) Replace it
d)   W ait for the restart and check the input current
a)   C heck the line voltage and locate the voltage drop
b) Check the connections
a)    Adjust the control (increase the control differential)
b) Look for the leak and recharge the equipment
c) Clean it
d) Repair or replace it
e) Replace it

a) Retighten
b) Add oil to the recommended level

a) Place the base on anti-vibration mountings
