alarm sounds 10 times and the unit shuts down. After emptying the water tank and
replacing it in the correct position, the unit will continue dehumidifying when the
compressor, automatically, starts after three minutes.
Defrost: When the unit is placed in a room with a low ambient temperature

during operation, the surface of the evaporator may frost, in order to ensure the
normal operation of the unit it is provided with an automatic defrosting function.

AIR FILTER

The dehumidifiers are equipped with a 3-layer filter package to clean the circulated room
air. The 3-layer filter package consists of a screen filter and (separately packed) HEPA™
HAF and active carbon filter. These filters must be placed according to the instructions
before operating the dehumidifiers.

animal dander and dust.
TO CLEAN, INSPECT OR EXCHANGE THE FILTERS:
TAKING OUT THE FILTERS:
• Take out the water container (see chapter 'WATER DRAINAGE & FULL WATER').
• Take out the screen filter by firmly pressing down the top of the screen filter with 2
or 3 fingers. The screen filter will bend and the two securing hooks at the top side of
the screen filter will be releasable from its dedicated holes. The screen filter is now
disconnected and can be easily removed.
• Take out the now visible HEPA
The screen filter has to be cleaned regularly with a vacuum cleaner to avoid blocking of
the air flow. It does not need periodically replacement.
New filter
The active carbon sheet can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner when dusty but has to be
changed at the same time as the HEPA™ HAF filter.
