4. INSTALLATION
DANGER
Dangerous electrical voltage.
Risk of death by electric shock.
 Disconnect the power supply and swit-
ch off the pump before working on it.
• Installation exclusively by professionals.
• Never carry the pump by the cable, to put it
in or take it out of the water.
• Avoid dry running without pumped fluid.
• Install the necessary equipment to prevent
the pump from running dry.

• Model with float: If the pump shall be inser-
ted into a pit or a duct, its dimensions must
allow the float switch to move freely.
When the water level rises with the float floa-
ting to the top, so the pump will turn on and
pump off the water until such a low water
level has been achieved that the float turns
off the pump again.
• Model without float: The operation of the
pump(s) requires the installation of a control
box sold separately.

4.1 HYDRAULIC CONNECTION

• Stop valves must be fitted on the effluent
inlet as well as on the discharge line, as close
as possible to the pumping station.
• Install a non-return valve on the pumping
station outlet to prevent unintended start-up.

NOTE: Optional accessories (drainage kits,
installation kit on seat base) are available:

• The drainage pipe must be fitted to prevent
any backflow from the sewers.
• Connect the pipe to the 2'' (Ø50/63) di-
scharge flange of the pump.
• If using a drain kit sold separately, follow the
instructions provided in the drain kit manual.

4.2 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Electrical connection work perfor-
med by an unqualified individual.
Risk of death by electric shock!
 The electrical connection must be
carried out by a qualified and licen-
sed electrician.
 The electrical installation must
meet the current standards in the
country.
• Only carry out the electrical connections
after the final hydraulic connections have
been completed.
• Provide fuses on each individual phase.
• Observe the colour matching shown in the
diagram ③ .
• T Model: the direction of rotation of the
pump is detected by the control box sold
separately. In case of low flow and/or pres-
sure, switch 2 phases to change the direction
of rotation of the pump.
• S and SA Models: in case of low flow rate
and/or pressure, check if the connections
made correspond to those indicated in the
control box manual.
• Regularly check the correct operation of all
electrical protections.
