Preparations

Viewing direction

D Despite the large viewing angle the LCD/TFT dsiplay
performs best when viewed from a vertical direction. Align
the LCD/TFT display with the most frequently used viewing
direction.

Location

D Light reflection
Avoid locating the unit opposite windows or other light
sources.
D Access to the mains input
The mains input and mains switch should be easily
accessible at all times.
D Air supply
In order to ensure sufficient ventilation the supply and
exhaust air slot of the LCD/TFT display must never be
covered.
D Ambient temperature
For safe and reliable operation the ambient temperature
must be between 5 °C and 35 °C.
Ensure the following minimum spacings for wall
mounting:
When placing the unit in a corner ensure the minimum
distances for ventilation of the LCD/TFT dsisplay are
adhered to.

Wall mounting

D You need for the wall mounting a VESA wall mounting
system (contained not in the scope of supply).
D The LCD/TFT display must be mounted on vertical walls
only.
D Before mounting check whether the loadbearing capacity
of the wall is suitable for 3-times the weight of the LCD/TFT
display (for weights
Specifications"). If in doubt, seek the advice of a qualified
installer.
D Before installation make sure that the LCD/TFT display is
switched off and that the mains cable and signal cables are
unplugged.
D Two people are required for the mounting work.

Installation

D You need a specific stand for the installation of the LCD/
TFT display (the stand is available at the manufacturer).
D Before installation make sure that the LCD/TFT display is
switched off and that the mains cable and signal cables are
unplugged.
D Two persons are required to move the LCD/TFT display.
Never lift the LCD/TFT display alone.
D Turn the LCD/TFT display screen so that the front (screen)
is pointing downwards and place it on a completely flat and
firm surface. Use a soft surface to avoid scratching the unit.
D Please mount the stand with the 6 screws (M4x10) at the
LCD/TFT display.
D Place the LCD/TFT display on a stable and horizontal
surface. The subsurface must be firm and capable of
bearing a static load.
