Remove the number of segmented rings according
to the measured cable diameter (see Table 6).
This step now has to be repeated for all of the
remaining segments of the interchangeable insert
sections.
The number of segments removed must be
identical at all press seal sections.
Only apply Hauff lubricant to the cutting and cable

seal surfaces (see fig.: 30).
• Do not spread lubricant on the external
sealing surface of the interchangeable insert
(cable/pipe sealing).
• The external sealing surface of the interchan-
geable insert (cable/pipe sealing) must be dry
and free of grease.
• Segmented rings must not overlap in instal-
lation (see fi g.: 31).
Fold split interchangeable insert over the cables and

insert into rubber sleeve as far as it will go (see
fig.: 32).
Tighten alternately clamping straps using a torque
