Operating instructions
V-Charge 200 Duo model building charger
Item no. 2267185
Intended use
The charger is used for charging and discharging NiMH/NiCd (1 - 15 cells), LiPo/Li-ion/LiFe
(1 - 6 cells) and lead batteries (1 - 10 cells, 2 V - 20 V). There are two independent outputs
(charging/discharging channels), which can be controlled via the two-row backlit LC display
and four buttons.
The charging current can be set between 0.1 A and 10.0 A (depending on the number of cells/
battery voltage). This charger also supports charging of LiHV batteries. The combined total
charging power for channel 1 + 2 is 100 W. Individually, channel L (left) can supply max. 100 W
and channel R (right) can supply max. 50 W.
The discharging current can be set between 0.1 A and 5.0 A (depending on the number of cells/
battery voltage). The maximum discharging power is 10 W.
The charger also offers a connection for an external temperature sensor (not included, can
be ordered as an accessory) at each output for battery monitoring. A balancer is integrated
for every output for multi-cell lithium batteries (two suitable external XH adapter cables are
included for use with batteries with 2 - 5 cells).
The charger has an in-built power adapter, enabling operation at mains voltage (100 - 240 V/
AC, 50/60 Hz) using the supplied mains cable. Alternatively, the charger can be powered by a
11 - 18 V/DC stabilised DC voltage (e.g. via an external lead vehicle battery or a suitable power
adapter). The cable required for the power supply is not included with this product. The product
also features a number of basic safety features such as short-circuit protection at the output
and overheat protection. The charger does NOT have short-circuit protection at the input.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, for
example in bathrooms, must be avoided.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short-circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the operating
instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third
parties together with its operating instructions.

humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorised use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.

devices which are connected to the product.
• Never charge batteries with integrated electronic components.
c) Installation location
• The product may only be used in dry, enclosed spaces. It must not become damp
or wet, otherwise the mains power supply may cause a fatal electric shock!
• Place the charger on a clean, level surface of a sufficient size.
• Do not place the charger on flammable materials (e.g. a carpet, car seat or
tablecloth). Always use a suitable non-flammable, heatproof surface. Keep the
charger away from flammable or combustible materials (e.g. curtains).
