the instructions for use of the main device,

Take additional precautions to avoid
strangulation.
WARNING
Risk of excessive leakage current
When more than four additional applied parts
from other devices are used together with
PulmoVista 500, make sure that the overall

Preparing the patient
1 Clean the respective skin areas properly.
Ensure that the respective skin surface is free
of body fluids or material which may impede
electrode contact.
2 Remove chest hair as necessary to ensure
proper electrode contact.
Attaching the electrode belt
The following safety information has been added:
CAUTION
Risk of skin irritation and skin injuries
The electrode belt may cause skin irritation or skin
injury.
Only use electrode belts of a suitable size so that
only slight stretching of the electrode belt is
required.
Check the patient's skin regularly, e.g., every
2 hours, for irritation, wounds, or other signs of
skin injury. If necessary, open or remove the
electrode belt.
Do not use the electrode belt for more than
24 hours consecutively on the same patient.
CAUTION
Danger of unstable circulation
Positioning the electrode belt may lead to
hemodynamic instability in patients with unstable
circulation.
Do not attach the electrode belt to patients where
this may pose a risk of hemodynamic instability.
