Selecting a Chapter or Title

1.) Selecting using a skip button
You can initially select CD tracks, DVD titles or chapters
by pressing the skip forward button 
button   repeatedly until you reach the desired point.
 
Note regarding DVD:
If the last chapter of a title is reached, the machine
skips automatically to the previous or following track.
2.) Selecting using the DVD disc menu
Most DVDs feature a Select menu for titles and scenes in
a film. Once you insert a DVD this menu usually appears
automatically. During playback the menu can be called
up at any time by pressing the blue 
blue    rocker). Select the desired scene from the 
menu, and confirm your selection by pressing the 
button. Playback now jumps straight to the selected
scene.
3.) Selecting chapter and track - direct numeric input
It is also possible to select a DVD chapter or CD track by
entering the number of the section using the numeric
buttons (  . . .   
handset.
Note:
If the number has more than one digit, press the digits
quickly in sequence.

Repeat function

The DVD 820 M offers several playback variants for the
CD in the drive drawer. You can cycle through the
variants on the integral screen by repeatedly pressing the
 button. Press the  

displayed variant.

Sub-title language

You can select the sub-title language, or switch sub-titles
on and off, during playback by pressing the 
button.

(DVD only)
During playback you can select the sound tracks present
on the disc by pressing the 

Camera angle

If several camera angles are available for a particular
sequence on a DVD, this is indicated by a camera
symbol on the screen.
You can switch between the various camera angles by
holding the   button pressed in, repeatedly if  
necessary. The angles can also be selected directly
using the numeric buttons.
