7. Filter change

The pre-filters are the preliminary stages before the reverse osmosis membranes and are specifically de-
signed to protect them. It is necessary to change the pre-filters regularly.
This is also one of the warranty conditions. Therefore, please observe the filter change intervals. To
change the pre-filters and the post-filters, please refer to the illustrations below and proceed as follows:
As soon as the message „Attention maintenance required! Please replace all filter units!" appears on the
display the pre- and post-filters need to be changed

- Close corner valve Disconnect the water supply to your device and open the
withdrawal tap. Confirm with the OK-Button.
- Open withdrawal tap
When the withdrawal tap is open, the pressure in the supply
tube will be reduced. Please wait until the next instruction is

- Disconnect tube
Now disconnect the inlet tube from the angle valve and press
the

In the next step, disconnect the device from the power supply. To do this, turn it off and pull the power
cord from the device.

Reset after filter
change:
In order to reset the filter change interval, you must select in
the operating mode menu the buttons (B) and (–) and hold

them for at least 5 seconds.

Please disconnect all tubes to and from the device. Push the tubes into the connector couplings, then push
the retaining element into the connector and pull the tube out.
To change the filter units, open the left side of the Verdanium
Home.
You will need a Philipps (cross) screwdriver.
Unscrew the 5 housing screws – please do not use excessive
force when loosening the screws.
After you have loosened the screws, you can remove the filter housing
cover. In the next step you can remove the pre- and post- filters.
Thanks to the tilt-able filter heads of the pre- and post-filters, you can easily remove the filters without
additional tools. Tilt the first PP filter unit forwards out of the Verdanium Home, turn the filter cartridge
90 ° anticlockwise and pull it out of the filter head.
