1. Basic information

Dear Customer,
Starting today making your own ultra-pure water is easier than ever. The Verdanium Home made by VI-
SION AQUA Technology is very easy to use and simple to maintain.
Before the Verdanium Home left the factory, its safety and functionality were tested and the filter was
thoroughly rinsed before packaging. Potential humidity or water residue in this filter can be caused by this
testing. Please read the entire operating manual prior to operating the filter for the first time.
Please follow the instructions in this manual exactly to avoid operating errors and potential damage to the
filter. This manual should be kept in a safe place and available at any time.
Warning!
The Verdanium Home is intended for household use only and is to be used for the filtration
of tap water only.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes that do not affect the functionality
of the filter.

1.1. Device usage

• Please use the Verdanium Home only after you have studied the content of the operating
manual.
• Never use the Verdanium Home outdoors or in areas where freezing temperatures can occur.
• Children and persons who are not familiar with the contents of this manual should not use
the device.
Warning!
Temperatures below 1°C can cause damage to the Verdanium Home!
The Verdanium Home must not be stored below freezing point!

1.2. Manufacturers declaration

The manufacturer hereby declares that the device meets the essential requirements stated in the follo-
wing European Directives:
• Low voltage directive – 2014/35/EG,
• Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive – 2014/30/EG,
The device is marked with the CE mark and a Declaration of Conformity was issued for the device.

2. Safety Instructions

2.1. Technical safety

• Check the Verdanium Home for any external and visible damage before installation.
A damaged Verdanium Home must not be set up and put into operation.
• Before connecting the Verdanium Home, please pay attention to the electrical connection
requirements (fuse, voltage, and frequency) on the label of the unit. The information provided
must be compatible with the electrical grid. In case of doubt please contact a certified electrician.
• The electrical safety of the Verdanium Home is only guaranteed if it is connected to a properly
installed protective conductor system.
Control panel
Protect the control panel from water and humidity. Do not place any damp objects on the device!
Transportation
Before transportation, the Verdanium Home must first be drained. Use the drain program.
Prior to dismantling the Verdanium Home, it must be disconnected from the electrical grid.
Label
The label with the basic information about the Verdanium Home is located at the upper rear part of the
housing.
Operation
Cleaning and maintenance of the device must not be done by children under the age of 8 and unless super-
vised by a competent person.
This device must not be operated by persons (including children) who suffer from mental or physical
disabilities or who do not have sufficient experience in the operation of the Verdanium Home. An excep-
tion can be made if such persons are supervised by a competent person and / or have been thoroughly
instructed in the operation of the Verdanium Home.
It is important to ensure that children do not play with the Verdanium Home.
Scrapping after usage
When scrapping, local regulations for the removal of waste and refuse must be followed.

3. Installation of the water filter

The following connections are required for the installation of the Verdanium Home:
• 1 x power socket 230V AC
• 1 x cold water supply connection 3/4" external thread (washing machine connection)
• 1 x wastewater connection, for example to the siphon below the sink
The water is extracted via the 3-way withdrawal tap (Fig. 1) or the 1-way withdrawal tap (Fig. 2).
