5. Adjustment and maintenance

5.1 Adjustment for specific operating conditions
The dryer is supplied by default with a nozzle for operation with temperature input +35 and
pressure (on the manometer) 8 bar. The dryer comes with an additional nozzle for a pressure
of 10 bar. Replacing the nozzle gives a more accurate and economical flow for the air for re-
generation. Changing the nozzle when using a different operating pressures may be replaced
by changing the regeneration time!

In order to change the injector (1), unscrew the fittings (2). Ensure the connections are her-
metically tightened upon changing.
5.2

In-service testing

The switching of cycles and monometer readings should be monitored every day. Once per
month, the injector (8) and silencer (5), as given in figure 3.5, should be disassembled for
inspection and cleaned of oil and dust if necessary.

If these procedures aren't carried out, then the dryer may fail to
operate properly, which will lead to noticeable deterioration in the
quality of air at the outlet of the dryer.
