3.3 Preparation of facility.
The minimum requirements for installation are as follows:
• Choose a clean, dry and dust-free facility which is shielded from the outdoors.
• The floor should be level, horizontal and support the weight of the dryer.
• The minimum ambient temperature is +5°C.
• The maximum ambient temperature is +45°C.
• There should be clearance provided on all sides of the dryer to allow access for carrying
out maintenance work.
No floor fastening is required for the dryer.
3.4 Connections to compressed air line
All work associated with connecting compressor equipment must be carried out with the
pneumatic system not under pressure. Connecting to the compressed air line should only be
carried out by a qualified specialist. The temperature and amount of air entering the dryer
must correspond to the values given in table 2.1.
When using this item, the pneumatic system must be fitted with a prefilter for cleaning the
compressed air of oil (0.01 mg/m2 permitted oil content) and an outlet (dust) filter for pro-
tecting from adsorbent dust. Comprag AF-series filters are recommended for installation.
Please contact your dealer for help in choosing the right filter.
Dimensions and performance characteristics of hoses and valves must correspond to the
volume and pressure of supplied air. Underestimation may lead to depressurization of the
system and cause injury to the operator and equipment damage.
COMPRAG ADX-F-PDP series
Installing the dryer in unsuitable conditions may lead to dimin-
ished performance due to overload. Such instances are not
covered by warranty.
Exceeding the permitted pressure may lead to injury of the oper-
ator and damage to equipment. The user shall bear responsibility
for the consequences of exceeding pressure beyond the value giv-
en on the dryer's identification plate.
Using the adsorption air dryer without the specified filters may cau-
se the adsorbent to lose its functional characteristics or cause blok-
kage of the equipment that is consuming the compressed air. The
user must install filters. Claims are not covered by warranty and
are disregarded in cases where such filters are not used.
