MONITORED TRACKING FUNCTION (MONITORING)
When the tracking procedure is completed the axis tracked will be monitored continuously by a perma-
nent radio communication from the laser to the receiver.
Press button M at the receiver to start the monitored tracking function:
· the blue LED will flash
· the white LED will flash
When the laser plane has reached the on-grade position of the receiver
· the blue LED will die
· the green LED will start lighting
· the white LED will light continuously (this permanent lighting shows that there is a communication
between the laser and the receiver = monitoring)
When the receiver is moved the laser plane will follow.
If the receiver is moved outside of the range of the mm-indication this movement will be displayed at
the receiver as follows:
· the green LED will die
· the white LED will flash
· the blue LED will flash
As soon as the laser plane has reached the on-grade position again
· the blue LED will die
· the green LED will start lighting
· the white LED will light continuously
VERTICAL APPLICATION
During the vertical application all functions are the same as in the horizontal mode.
Exception: slope setting
When the instrument is in the self-levelling mode the Z axis is self-levelling.
USE OF THE TELESCOPIC VIEWFINDER
Aim the X-axis of the laser exactly in the direction of the axis which has to be tilted with the help of the
notch and bead on the top cover. At larger distances please use the telescopic viewer which can be
mounted on top of the instruments housing.
Look into the viewer from this side with a distance of about 10 – 15 cm!
Please note: The telescopic viewer is used to align the slope axis to the target.
