Fault Cause
No cutting function • Compressed-air supply/hose connection
• Directional valve Y3 does not switch
• Valve actuator does not move
Insufficient cutting capacity • Working pressure too low
• Slide stiff
• Dirty cutting edge
• Worn cutting edge
Free wire end is bent • The wire has no contact with the fixed jaws
• Counter support jammed

11 Disassembly
Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up
The following instructions must be adhered to throughout all maintenance, servicing, assembly,
disassembly and repair work:
• Disconnect the power supply.
• Interrupt the compressed-air supply.
NOTICE
• Unscrew the screws and remove the cleaning unit and the collecting tray.
• Unscrew the screws and remove the support from the base.
• Disassembly must only be carried out by qualified personnel (in Germany see TRBS 1203).
• Observe the information provided in the following section:
 8 Putting out of operation on page EN-19.

Troubleshooting
• Check all supply lines leading to the cylinder
and threaded fittings
• Check the signal output of the robot control
• Replace directional valve Y3
• Check the pressure regulator setting:
min. 4 bar/max. 8 bar
• Dismount, clean and oil movable parts
• Clean more often
• Clean
• Change approach position P1
• Change the cutter
• Correct the approach position of the welding
torch
• Dismount, clean and oil movable parts
• Tighten the mounting screws
