Step Assembly

Plug the Sensor cable into the
monitor's CO input connector.

Choose the appropriate Airway
Adapter and connect it to the
Sensor head. It will click into place
when seated correctly.

Install at the proximal end of the
circuit between the elbow and the
ventilator Y-section.

Cleaning and Disinfection

Cautions
• The M2501A Sensor can be cleaned and disinfected, but
never sterilized by any means.
• The M2513A and M2516A reusable Airway Adapters can be
cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized.
• The M2533A and M2536A single-patient-use Airway
Adapters must be disposed after use. Follow your institution's
standard protocol for medical product disposables.
Cleaning and Disinfection Schedule
Clean and disinfect the M2501A Sensor and reusable Airway
Adapters (M2513A and M2516A) after every use. Be sure to
follow procedures described in the following pages.
