Insert/replace the carbon filter
mat
To ensure the more effective removal of
odour particles from cooking fumes, it is rec-
ommended to use a carbon filter mat in place
of the fleece grease filter (supplied). The suc-
tion power is lower.

„Our Service Centre" on page EN-17.
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-
et.
2. Remove the metal grease filter (2) and
carefully put it aside.
3. Remove the two retaining wires; it is best
to start on the closed side.
4. Remove the fleece grease filter (6).
5. Cut the carbon filter mat to match the di-
mensions of the fleece grease filter.
6. Place the carbon filter mat on the inside
of the metal grease filter.
7. Affix it using the two retaining wires. It is
best to snap these on to the closed side
first.
8. Re-insert the metal grease filter (2) and
secure it in place with the sliders.
9. Connect the mains plug to a properly in-
stalled socket.
