Pump motor

1. Utilisation
1.1. The motors may only be installed and operated in accordance with their
intended use in connection with a booster pump for the application intended by
Storch.
2. Operating environment
2.1 The motors must not be used in an explosive atmosphere.
2.2 The danger of penetration of solids or liquids from the environment into
the motor must be ruled out.
3. Installation
CAUTION:
The motor may only be put into operation with the booster pump intended
for use on the Storch ColorFree top.
Installing the booster pump in the ColorFree top separating system
1. Switch off the separating system and unplug the power connector.
2. Shut off the water supply.
3. Loosen the screws on the assembly opening on the left side of the system
and remove the cover plate.
4. Place the pump in the assembly opening and fix it to the frame unit of
the system with the screws provided; route the power cable through an
opening in the back of the unit and plug the earthed plug into the earth
socket provided on the system (see ColorFree top operating instructions).
5. Insert a seal into the union nut (straight side) of the supplied water hose;
route it from the outside through the upper opening on the back of the unit
and connect it to the vertical threaded connection of the pump and tighten
it firmly.
6. Attach the other side of the hose (with a 90° angle) firmly to the water
supply of the separating unit (see ColorFree top operating instructions) -
here too, one of the supplied seals must be inserted. Ensure that the union
nut is correctly seated so as not to damage the plastic thread of the con-
nection.
