7. Fault finding the product

WARNING

Before starting any work on the product, make sure
that the power supply has been switched off and that
it cannot be accidentally switched on.
Fault
1. The pump does not start
when started.
2. The pump is constantly off.
3. The MP 204 gives a faulty
control signal.

9. Disposal of the product

This product or parts of it must be disposed of in an
environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest Grundfos company
or service workshop.

b) Damaged switchgear or contactor.
c) Cut-in value not reached, level or pressure.
d) Relay defective.
e) Wiring defective.
f) Pump defective.
g) An alarm occurs

c) Contactor defective.
a) The MP 204 is defective.
b) Incorrect setup of the MP 204.
Remedy
Check that the power cables are connected
correctly.
Replace switchgear or contactor.
Check the cut-in values.
Replace the relay.
Replace the cable.
Repair or replace the pump, if necessary.
Check the type of fault in the alarm log for MP
204.
