Turn the hand wheel (9) clockwise and clamp the
workpiece (a) in securely.
In order to release the workpiece turn the hand
wheel again (9) anticlockwise.
With the clamping jaw (8) simply supported the
workpiece can now be clamped in at the desired
angle.
7.5 Adjusting the spark guard (5)
Undo the thumb screw (17).
Adjust the spark guard plate (18) as required.
Tighten the thumb screw (17) again.
7.6 Sawing (Figs. 1; 4)
Place the workpiece against the stop (11) and
secure it with the aid of the clamping fixture (8).
Observe the clamping guidelines shown in Fig. 4.
Press the On/Off switch (1) with one hand and
pull the safety locking bolt (3) out with the other
hand.
Move the operating handle (1) down in order to
make the cut.
Allow the saw blade to cut freely. Do not exert
excessive pressure.
After sawing switch the machine off and move
the saw head (2) back to the upper home
position.
The safety locking bolt (3) automatically re-
engages in the top position.
7.7 Changing the saw blade (Figs. 5; 6; 7; 8)
Remove the power plug!
Loosen the thumb screw (19) and flip the flange
cover plate (20) to one side.
Press the spindle lock (5).
Turn the saw blade (21) until the spindle is
locked.
Using the Allen key (22), remove the screw (23)
by turning it anticlockwise, and then remove the
washer (24) and the flange (25)
Pull the locking bolt (3) with one hand and open
the lower saw blade guard (6) with the other
hand.
Exchange the saw blade (21). Caution: Risk of
injury! Always wear gloves when handling saw
blades!
Ensure that the new saw blade is inserted on the
flange in the correct direction of rotation (25).
Mount the saw blade (21) in the reverse order
and check that it is firmly seated.
7.8 Transport
To transport the machine the clamping fixture (8)
must be set right at the stop (11).
Hook the saw head (2) with the transport chain

(10) in the lower position on the hook provided
(12).
Carry the machine by the transportation handle
(13).
In order to unlock the machine press the saw
head down by the operating handle (14) and
unhook the transport chain (10). Caution: The
saw head is under spring tension. Hold the
handle (14) firmly and move the saw head (2) up
slowly.

8. Maintenance

Keep the machine's air vents unclogged and
clean at all times.
Remove dust and dirt regularly from the machine.
Cleaning is best done with compressed air or a
rag.
Re-lubricate all moving parts in regular intervals.
Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts.
