Clamp workpieces securely and tightly.
Always run the cable away from the back of the
machine.
Set up the machine where it stands securely and
fix in position if necessary.
Use only approved saw blades as listed in these
operating instructions.
All the moving parts of the saw blade guard must
work properly without jamming.
Never wedge the movable saw guard (disk
guard).
Switch on the machine and move the saw blade
slowly to the workpiece.
Only reliable persons of 18 years of age and
above are allowed to operate, repair and set up
cross-cut saws.
Persons working on the cross-cut saw should not
be distracted.
Always switch off the saw before you leave the
work area.
Clean the saw only when it is at a standstill and
after you have pulled out the plug. Use a brush or
vacuum cleaner.
Before switching on the cross-cut saw, always
make sure that the saw blade and guard are fitted
properly and securely. Note the direction of the
arrow on the blade.
Saw only when the blade has reached top speed.
Do not switch off the motor until the saw blade is
no longer in action.
Coolant
Important!
Use only undiluted, standard motor or
gear oil to cool the saw blade.
Important!
The diaphragm coolant pump will not pump if
it runs dry.
Cooling preparations
1. Fill oil in the oil trough.
2. Switch on the motor briefly.
3. The pump will draw in a little oil.
4. Raise the intake filter far enough for
the oil to reach the pump.
5. Switch on the motor. The pump will
draw up the oil.
6. Plug the intake filter (4) in the holder (6).
The filter must be cleaned occasionally.

If you operate the machine outdoors, it is
imperative to use a type H07RN-F 3G 1.5 mm
extension cable with rain-water-protected plugs.

Maintenance

Keep your cross-cut metal saw clean at all times.
Never use any caustic agents to clean the plastic
parts.
If you ever discover any damage, consult the
exploded drawing and parts list to determine
exactly which replacement parts you need to
order from our Customer Service Centre.
Use only original Einhell replacement parts.
Noise
The level of noise at the workplace may exceed
85 dB(A). In this case you will need to introduce
noise protection measures for the user.
