Feed in workpieces only when the machine is
switched on and running at top speed.
Only reliable persons of 18 years of age and
above are allowed to operate, repair and set up
circular saws.
Persons working on the circular saw should not be
distracted.
Always switch off the saw before you leave the
work area.
Clean the saw only when it is at a standstill and
after you have pulled out the plug. Use a brush or
vacuum cleaner.
Before switching on the circular saw, always make
sure that the saw blade and guard are fitted
properly and securely. Note the direction of the
arrow on the blade.
Saw only when the blade has reached top speed.
Do not switch off the motor until the saw blade is
no longer in action.

Maintenance

Keep your bench-type circular saw clean at all
times.
Never use any caustic agents to clean the plastic
parts.
If you ever discover any damage, consult the
exploded drawing and parts list to determine
exactly which replacement parts you need to order
from our Customer Service Centre.
Noise
The level of noise at the workplace may exceed 85
dB(A). In this case you will need to introduce noise
protection measures for the user.

Putting into operation

Set up the machine where it can stand firmly and
secure it against slipping (bolt in place). Make sure
there is enough room around the machine to operate
it without risk.
All the covers and safety devices must be properly
fitted before the machine is switched on.
The machine must be switched off when you
connect it up to the mains.
It must be possible for the saw blade to run freely.
When working with wood that has been processed
before, watch out for foreign bodies (nails, screws,
etc.).
