Cutting arcs with the
router
Place the machine on the
workpiece.
Set the cutting depth.
Fasten the guide bar (1) in the
routing base (2) with the thumb
screw (3).
Plug on the trammel point (4)
and screw tight.
Measure the radius and fix the
trammel point in position.
Switch on the machine.
After releasing the locking
handle (5), lower the machine
slowly as far as the stop.
Cut grooves, shoulders, etc. at
a steady rate of feed, holding
the machine with both hands.
When finished, raise the
machine and secure with the
locking handle.
Switch off the machine.
Cutting with the guide
bush
The template is traced with the
guide ring of the guide bush. To
obtain an exact copy, the
workpiece must be bigger by an
amount equal to the difference
between the 'outer edge of the
guide ring' and the 'outer edge of
the cutter'.
Important! Hold the router
with both hands on all cutting
jobs.
Cutting direction
Important!
The direction of routing must
always be opposite to the
cutter´s direction of rotation.
Otherwise there is a risk of
injury from back kick.
Moulding and
edge-cutting
Feed the machine carefully up to
the workpiece. Move the guide pin
or ball race along the workpiece,
