If you record with a cassette recorder on the outputs REC (31) of
the mixer, overmodulation and distortion can occur due to the
recording technology with cassette recorders if the trebles are
raised with the equaliser feature of the mixer.

Servicing and maintenance

Observe the following safety instructions without fail before cleaning or servicing the
device:
Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket!
Only a specialist who is familiar with the risks and relevant regula-
tions may carry out repairs or open the device.
All connected devices must be disconnected from the mains before servicing or
repairs.
The device is maintenance-free. For this reason, you should never open it. The war-
rant will lapse if you open it.
The outside of the device should only be cleaned with a clean dry cloth or brush. Do
not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions which could damage the
housing or impair operation.
Check the technical safety of the device regularly, e.g. for damage to the housing or
mains cable etc.
If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, immediately
take the device out of operation and secure it against inadvertent operation.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if
• the device shows visible signs of damage,
• the device no longer functions
• after a longer period of storage under unfavourable conditions or
• following heavy stress during transportation.
Disposal
If the product has become unusable, dispose of it in accordance with the relevant
statutory regulations.

The guarantee will lapse in case of damage caused by failure to
comply with these operating instructions! We shall not be liable
for any consequent loss!
We do not take any responsibility for personal injury or damage to
property caused by incorrect handling or non-observance of the
safety instructions! The warranty will lapse in such cases.
For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or
modifications to the product are not permitted.
All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servic-
ing this mixer must be trained and qualified correspondingly and
observe these operating instructions.
The device may not be exposed to extreme temperatures (<+10°C /
>+35°C).
The device may not be exposed to strong vibrations or heavy mechan-
ical stress.
The device may not be exposed to excessive dampness such as, for
example, dripping or spray water.
The construction of the device corresponds to protection class I and
may only be connected to a shock-proof socket.
The mixer is approved for operation in dry, closed rooms only.
Do not place vessels such as glasses, vases etc. on the device. Never
pour out any liquids above the device. Never place small objects, e.g.
coins, paper clips etc., on the device as these could fall into the inside
of the device. There is the greatest risk of fire or a fatal electric shock!
If any liquid or an object penetrates into the device, pull out the mains
plug immediately and contact a specialist.
Never disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket by the
cable. Always pull out the mains plug from the socket by the
intended grips.
