(12) CROSS-FADER
With the aid of this slide control, cross-fading/mixing takes place between the two
channels CHANNEL3 and CHANNEL4.
The one channel is faded out on the operating the slide control (becomes quieter), at
the same time, the other channel is faded in (becomes louder). In the central position
of the CROSS-FADER slide control, both channels are reproduced equally.
(13) SOUND EFFECTOR LEVEL control
Using this control, you can set the volume of the sound effects.
(14) SOUND EFFECTOR button
By pressing one of the six buttons, it is possible to provide various sound effects on
the mixer output.
When using the sound effects, pay attention to the volume as the
loud dynamics of the noises involved could otherwise damage the
loudspeakers.
(15) Channel faders
Using these channel controls, you can set the volume of the channels 1 - 6.
Position "0"
= minimum level
Position "10"
= maximum level
(16) PRE-SET control
Using these rotary controls, you can adapt the individual channels to the output lev-
el of the source or signal concerned (record player, CD player etc.). This can prevent
overmodulating of the mixer. With these controls, the various channel input levels
can be adapted to one another also.
Position "0" = mixer input is very insensitive
Position "10" = mixer input is very sensitive
(17) LOW/HIGH switch
Using these switches, the input sensitivity of the two microphone inputs CHANNEL1
and CHANNEL2 can be adapted to the impedance of the connected microphones.
Position LOW (600 Ohm) is for low-resistance microphones
Position HIGH (10 Ohm) is for high-resistance microphones
18 Input selection switch
Using the switches, you can select between the individual inputs of the channels
CHANNEL3, CHANNEL4, CHANNEL5, and CHANNEL6.

Commissioning
Only put the device into operation when you have become familiar
with its features and these operating instructions. Check all con-
nections once again for correctness.
Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time.
This applies in particular to listening to music through head-
phones as your hearing may be impaired.
Switching mixer on/off
Non-observance of the order described in the following when switching the
mixer on and off could damage the loudspeakers or the amplifier.
Switching on:
• Make sure that all channel faders are adjusted to the minimum volume (channel
fader & master fader right down).
• First switch on the reproduction devices which are connected to the mixer.
• Switch on the mixer using the switch "POWER" (2). The operating indicator will
light up.
• Switch on the connected amplifier and the recording device (connected to the
REC jacks). This device is now ready for operation.
Switching off:
• To switch off the mixer, first of all turn the volume of the amplifier and the mixer to
minimum.
• Switch off the amplifier.
• Then switch off the mixer using the mains switch POWER (2) and then the repro-
duction devices (record player, CD player etc.).
• If you do not require the mixer for a longer period, pull out the mains plug from the
socket.
