7.1.5 Setting the ramp generator

The ramp generator determines the acceleration and deceleration time of the motor and can be
set within a range of 10 to 30 seconds by means of potentiometer R82. The ramp time setting
range can be adjusted by means of capacitor C71.
The ramp generator output can be connected to terminal X24:9 for slave drives.

7.1.6 Setting the limit monitor

The actual speed or actual current value can be monitored with the limit monitor. If the actual
current value exceeds or the actual speed value drops below the limit set by means of resistor
R2, then LED V98 / "GM" lights up and 0V are switched through to terminal X24:14 (open
collector output). The signal can be used, for example, as a "n=0" signal to activate a mechanical
holding brake.

Resonse threshold of limit monitor. Setting "as supplied":
5% of rated value (speed or current). Higher resistance
corresponds to higher response threshold.
Limit monitor checks current, if jumpers
A1-A2 and A5-A6 are set.
Limit monitor checks speed, if jumpers
A2-A3 and A4-A5 are set ("as supplied").
