Inspection, points to verify
Before each use
Verify that the product is free of cracks, deformation,
marks, wear, corrosion, etc.
Check the condition of the frame, holes, cams and
safety catches, springs and cam-axles.
WARNING, do not use a rope clamp that has missing
or worn-out teeth.

Working
principle
The rope clamp slides along the rope
in one direction and jams in the other
direction.
The teeth on the cams initiate a clamping
action that pinches the rope between the
cam and the frame.

During each use
It is important to regularly monitor the condition
of the product and its connections to the other
equipment in the system. Make sure that all pieces
of equipment in the system are correctly positioned
with respect to each other.

the cams (twigs, resin, etc.).
- situations where the safety catches can snag and
cause the cams to open.

Installation
Pull the safety catches down and hook them on the frame of the
device. The cams are thus held open.
Put the ropes in place. Pay attention to the Up/Down indicator.
Unhook the safety catches so that the cams press against the ropes.
Connect your lanyard to the lower hole with a locking carabiner.
To remove the rope
Slide the device up the ropes and disengage the cams using the safety
catches.
