Note: Some electrical appliances (power jigsaws,
drills, etc.) may have a higher level of power con-
sumption when used in difficult conditions.
9.3 Switching off the engine
Before you switch off the generator, allow it to run
briefly with no consumers so that it can "cool
down"
Move the ON/OFF switch (5) to position "OFF"
with the key.
Important! The generator is fitted with an over-
load cut-out.
This shuts down the socket (6). You can reactivate
the socket (6) by pressing the overload cut-out (3).
Important! If this happens, reduce the electric
power you are taking from the generator or
remove any defective connected appliances.

10. Maintenance

Remove dust and dirt from the machine at regular
intervals. The best tools for cleaning are a fine
brush or a cloth
Use only plastic care products to clean the plastic
parts.
Take the petrol out of the generator if you do not
intend to use the generator for a lengthy period of
time
Important: Switch off the machine immediately
and contact your service station:
In the event of unusual vibrations or noise
If the engine appears to be overloaded or misfires

The machine can be continuously operated with the
quoted power output.
Operating mode S2 (temporary operation)
The machine may be temporarily operated with the
quoted power output. Afterwards the machine must
be stopped for a while to prevent it from overheating.
12. Air filter (Fig. 7-9)
The air filter should be cleaned after every 30
hours of operation.
Remove the air filter cover (Fig. 7-8).
Remove the filter element (Fig. 9).
Clean the filter element with soapy water, rinse
with clear water and leave to dry well before re-
installing.
Assemble in reverse order
13. Spark plug (Fig. 3-6)
Check the spark plug for dirt and grime after 10 hours
of operation and if necessary clean with a copper
wire brush. Thereafter service the spark plug after
every 50 hours of operation.
Set the electrode gap to 0.7 mm.
Remove the spark plug as in Figures 3 to 6.
Assemble in reverse order.
