WARNING: Rear-facing cars seats must be properly
levelled:
• Too reclined can result in injury;
• Too upright can result in breathing difficulties.

ENSURE that your infant is resting in the car seat in a
way where their head cannot fall forward easily on its
own.
!
ENSURE that your infant's bottom and back are flat
against the child restraint and that your infant does
NOT slouch.
INSTALLING FORWARD-FACING
1. Place the child restraint flush
against the back of a forward-fac-
ing vehicle seat. Adjust the recline
as necessary (see "Recline").
2. Thread the vehicle shoulder belt
portion of the seat belt through
the integrated belt positioning
guide at the top of the headrest
ON THE SAME SIDE as the seat
belt retractor ❶.
3. Gently pull apart
the
hook
and
loop seam found
on the backrest
of the seat pad
exposing the shell
and EPE foam. Guide the shoulder portion of the ve-
hicle 3-point seat belt along the backrest and com-
pletely through the opening on the side of the child
restraint and out the back as shown ❷.

! ACHTUNG: Rückwärts gerichtete Fahrzeugsitze müssen ord-
nungsgemäß waagerecht platziert sein:
• Eine zu starke Neigung kann zu Verletzungen führen.
• Eine zu aufrechte Positionierung kann zu Atembeschwerden
führen.
! VERGEWISSERN Sie sich, dass Ihr Kind so im Autositz sitzt,
dass sein Kopf nicht von selbst nach vorne fallen kann.
! VERGEWISSERN Sie sich, dass Ihr Kind mit Gesäß und Rücken
bündig im Kinderrückhaltesystem liegt und dass Ihr Kind IM-
MER aufrecht sitzt.
INSTALLATION VORWÄRTS GERICHTET
1. Das Kinderrückhaltesystem bündig gegen den Rücken eines
nach vorn gerichteten Fahrzeugsitzes platzieren. Stellen Sie
den Neigungswinkel nach Bedarf ein (siehe „Neigungsver-
stellung").
2. Den Schultergurtteil des Dreipunktgurtes des Fahrzeugs
durch die integrierte Gurtdurchführung an der Oberkante
der Kopfstütze AUF DER GLEICHEN SEITE wie das Gurtauf-
rollsystem führen ❶.
3. Die Klettverschlussnaht an der Rückenlehne des Sitzpolsters
vorsichtig auseinanderziehen, wodurch die Schale und der
EPE-Schaum freigelegt werden. Wie dargestellt den Schul-
tergurtteil des Dreipunktgurtes des Fahrzeugs entlang der
Rückenlehne und vollständig durch die Öffnung auf der Seite
des Kinderrückhaltesystems und auf der Rückseite heraus-
führen ❷.
