INGREDIENTS:
• 250 g minced meat
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 1 egg
• 5 - 7 slices toasting bread
PREPARATION:
1. T ear one slice of toasting bread to small flakes and keep the other slices at hand.
2. T hen, thoroughly mix the bread flakes, minced meat, chopped onion, egg, and spices.
3. W hen the appliance reached the operating temperature, fill an appropriate portion of the meat mixture in each well of the heating
plate.
4. With the lid closed, roast the meatballs until they get a crispy crust (approx. 3 - 4 minutes).
5. After removing the meatballs, shortly roast a slice of bread in each well.
6. After removing the bread, roast the next portion of the meat mixture and thereafter the next slices of bread.
7. Serve the meatballs with the roasted bread slices.
INGREDIENTS:
• 400 g potatoes, peeled
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 1 egg
• 1 heaped tablespoon flour
TIP -
Keep your favourite ingredients for serving at hand. For example: cinnamon and sugar, apple sauce, etc.
PREPARATION:
1. Grate the potatoes. Then, add the other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
2. W ait until the appliance reaches operating temperature. Then fill a portion of the potato mixture into the wells of the heating plate.
3. Bake until the potato fritters get a slightly golden crust (8 - 10 minutes).
4. Serve to taste with cinnamon and sugar, apple sauce, or other side dishes.
MEATBALLS
• 1 teaspoon of your favourite barbecue spice mixture
• 1 teaspoon sweet capsicum spice
• Salt to taste
POTATO FRITTERS
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 pinch of ground, dried basil
• 1 pinch of salt
