7. Battery information

7.1 General information

• Keep batteries out of reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries lying around, as they present a choking hazard for children and pets. Seek immediate medi-
cal advice if a battery is swallowed.
• Batteries must never be short-circuited, dismantled or thrown into fire. This may cause an explosion!
• When handling leaking or damaged batteries, always use suitable protective gloves to avoid burning your skin.
• Always observe the correct polarity when inserting batteries or connecting the flight battery (observe the plus/+ and
minus/- signs). Inserting the batteries in the wrong polarity may damage the remote control, the model aircraft and
the rechargeable batteries. It may also cause a fire or explosion.

7.2 Flight battery

• After the flight, the flight battery must be disconnected from the model.
• Do not leave the flight battery connected to the model when the model is not in use (e.g. during transport or stor-
age), as this may cause the battery to overdischarge, rendering it unusable!
• Never charge the flight battery immediately after use. Always leave it to cool down first (min. 5–10 mins).
• Only charge intact and undamaged rechargeable batteries. Do not charge the rechargeable battery if the external
insulation is damaged, or if the rechargeable battery is deformed or swollen. This may cause a fire or explosion!

7.3 Batteries

• Ensure that you insert the batteries in the correct polarity.
• To prevent battery leakage, remove the batteries when you do not plan to use the product for an extended period.
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause acid burns if they come into contact with your skin. Always use suitable
protective gloves when handling damaged batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is a risk that
children or pets may swallow them.
• All batteries must be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries can cause the batteries to leak and
damage the product.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into flames.
• Never charge conventional, non-rechargeable batteries. This may cause an explosion!
