6. Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions and safety information carefully. If you do not follow the safety information
and information on proper handling in these operating instructions, we will assume no liability for any result-
ing personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.

6.1 General information

• This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
• It must not get damp or wet.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended, as it may become a dangerous plaything for children.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical support
service or other technical personnel.

6.2 Compulsory insurance

• This model has the potential to cause damage to property and/or individuals. Ensure that you are sufficiently
insured, e.g. by taking out private liability insurance.
• If you already have such a policy, check with your insurance company that the use of this model is covered by
the policy.
• Important: In some countries, you are required to have insurance when using a model aircraft.

6.3 Operation

• If you do not have sufficient knowledge of how to operate remote-controlled models, contact an experienced model
user or a model club.
• Always leave the remote control turned on when the model is in use. After landing, always disconnect the flight
battery from the model before switching off the remote control.
• Do not take any risks when using the product! Always use the model responsibly, otherwise you may endanger
yourself and your surroundings.
• Improper use can cause serious injury and damage to property! Ensure that you maintain a sufficient distance from
people, animals and objects.
• Select an appropriate room or airfield to operate the model. We recommend a warehouse or sports hall for your
first flights. If you wish to use the model outdoors, choose a day when there is little or no wind.
• Only fly the model when you are fully alert and able to respond. Fatigue, alcohol and medication can affect your
ability to respond.
• Do not fly the model towards spectators or towards yourself.
• In case of a fault or a malfunction, establish the cause of the problem before using the model again.
• Never expose your model or the remote control to direct sunlight or excessive heat for an extended period of time.
