5.5.2. CONNECTION TO THE EXTERNAL AIR INLET

The boiler must have the combustion air needed to ensure proper operation, through external air
inlets. It must be extracted as described below:
▪ by a wall air inlet provided near the boiler, communicating with the outside (free surface
of at least 100 cm²), carefully positioned so as not to be obstructed and suitably protected
externally by a grille;
▪ connection directly to the outside with a pipe of inside diameter 60 mm and max. length
1.5 m suitably protected at the end.
▪ through the room adjacent to that of installation provided the air is free to flow through
permanent openings communicating with the outside, meeting the requirements described
in the "Installation" paragraph.
The adjacent room must not be subject to a lower pressure than the outside
environment due to the draught effect created by the presence of other
possible units or suction devices. The adjacent room can not be used as
a car garage, for storing combustible material or for activities with fire risk.
The inlet connection or air intake (diam. 50/60 mm round section) is located at the back of the boiler
and is suitably protected by a grille incorporated in rear sheet metal and removable if necessary; it
must also ensure a flow of clean air, free of pollutants, for regular combustion at maximum power.

5.5.3. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Make sure the electrical system complies with the regulations and has an
earth connection and differential switch in compliance with the current
Standards
The boiler is equipped with a power supply cable without plug. Connect the boiler to an
approved 230 V - 50 Hz electrical socket. The power socket must be easily accessible even
after the unit has been installed.
If the power cable is damaged, it must immediately be replaced by the service centre and a
qualified technician to prevent any risk.
The power cable must never touch the stove exhaust pipe. The fume duct
must have its own earth connection.
The voltage supplied by the system must match that specified on the stove
data plate and in the technical data section of this manual.
