5.3 POSITIONING AND TECHNICAL ROOM

5.3.1. POSITIONING AND LIMITS

Place the boiler in the required location, making sure:
▪ it complies with the requirements of the regulations in force;
▪ it complies with correct operation of the unit;
▪ it is possible to operate and service the unit in any position needed to do the work;
▪ it is provided with adequate ventilation from the outside;
▪ the air inlets must be designed so that they cannot be obstructed in any way;
▪ it is provided with a suitable fume exhaust system,
▪ it is provided with an approved, grounded power socket.
Set the boiler down on the floor very carefully without any bumping and
position it in the required place.
Make sure the floor can take its weight, otherwise see a specialized
technician.
Follow the operations below to position the boiler:
Step Action
1 Fit the 4 feet (included the bag supplied)
which stabilize the unit if the floor is not
perfectly flat.
Note: to fit and/or adjust the height of each
foot, tilt the boiler where and as necessary.
In the event of simultaneous installation with other heating units, provide an air inlet for each
one (according to the instructions for each product).
The product must not be installed:
▪ in rooms containing liquid fuel units with continuous or discontinuous
operation that draw combustion air from the room in which they are
installed, or;
▪ containing type B gas units designed for heating rooms, with or without
DHW and in adjacent and communicating rooms, or;
▪ where the negative pressure measured in operation between the outdoor
and indoor environment is higher than 4 Pa.
It is forbidden to place the product in bedrooms, bathrooms, garages or
in rooms with a fire risk.

5.3.2. BOILER ROOM

Ensure that the room has the requirements and characteristics in compliance with current
regulations (the volume should not be less than 15m
