9.
CLEANING
9.1
OUTER CLEANING
For a good preservation of the cabinet's body a periodical cleaning is necessary.
EXTERNAL BODY: When necessary, the external body should be cleaned with a cloth and a neutral soap and
water solution.
STAINLESS STEEL SURFACES: wash with warm water and mild detergent, rinse well and dry with soft cloth. Avoid
scouring pads etc. which will spoil the finish of the stainless steel.
SURFACES IN PLASTIC MATERIAL: wash with warm water and mild detergent, rinse well and dry with soft cloth;
under no circumstances should alcohol, methylated spirits or solvents be used.
GLASS SURFACES: only use products specifically designed for glass cleaning; It is not advisable to use ordinary
water which can leave a film of calcium on the surface of the glass.
9.2 WARNING
If the appliance is installed in damp, not-heated premises, droplets of condensation may form on the
outside surfaces (side, back, windows).
This would happen typically between season, when ambient temperatures are relatively low and
humidity is high, and is a perfectly natural phenomenon having no effect on the working of the freezer.

9.3 GENERAL ADVICE

• For energy savings, do not frequently open the cover or for too long.
• Never leave heavy or hot products on the top part of the freezer.
• Disconnect the power supply before cleaning.
• To clean the freezer, use a soft cloth and neutral detergents.
• Use hot water to clean oil or fruit juice on the magnetic gasket, to maintain its elasticity. Also apply a bit of
talc to prolong duration.
