Automatic preset tuning

Follow the procedure below to preset radio stations
automatically.

Press FM to set the unit to the FM mode.

Press and hold MEMORY for more than 2
seconds.
The "AUTO PRESET" and "Push Center Key"
appear in the front panel display alternately.
To cancel, press MEMORY.

Press Center to start searching
automatically.
• Auto Preset starts at the lowest frequency toward
the highest frequency.
• This unit automatically applies a preset number to
each detected station.

Search will stop after finding appropriate
station and stores as a preset station.

Search will start again to find a next station.
Notes
• You can preset up to 30 of FM stations with Auto Preset.
• Any stored station data existing under a preset station number is
cleared when you store a new station under the same preset
station number.

Manual preset tuning

You can also store up to 30 stations manually.

Tune into a radio station you want to preset.
See page 18 for tuning instructions.

Press MEMORY.
The MEMORY and PRESET indicators light up in
the front panel display until you cancel manual
preset.
To cancel, press MEMORY.

Press / repeatedly to select a preset
station number.

Press Center while the preset station number
you selected is flashing.
The MEMORY indicator disappears from the front
panel display.
5
Repeat steps 1 to 4 until all desired stations
are preset.
