Protection rings
For security reasons the protection rings must be mounted when running the power-trowel. If they are removed or
get damaged the engine might get short-circuited and cannot be started. On one side under the joystick which locks
the rings there is a magnetic sensor. It should be situated within 4 mm from the tube of the ring. It means fl ush with
the plastic bracket. On the sensor at the cable connection there are two light emitting diodes. The yellow shows that
there is power and the green one that it is activated, i.e. the tube is in its proper place. The rings are connected in
series which means that both of them have to be OK in order to start the engine.
The ring on the left side of the ma-
chine (petrol engine side) is the fi rst
of the series. Check that the green
light emitting diode gives light.
Check that the green diode gives
light.
Proceed in the same way with the
sensor on the other side.
